Every question,
answered honestly.

BeautyMeet is a marketplace connecting clients with independent nail techs, lash artists, hair stylists, braiders, and makeup artists. Browse real portfolios, book in under 2 minutes, and pay securely — all in one place. Every artist activates payouts through Stripe, which verifies their identity (KYC) before they can take their first booking.

Search for artists near you, browse their portfolios and live availability, pick a time that works, and pay a $1.25 booking guarantee to secure your spot. You'll get an instant confirmation plus automatic SMS and email reminders before your appointment.

No — you can book as a guest with just your name and number, no account or password required. Creating an account is optional and lets you track loyalty points, message your artist, and see your appointment history in one place.

BeautyMeet works in any web browser on your phone or computer — no download needed. Book, message your artist, and manage appointments right from the site. A native mobile app is on the roadmap.

It's the $1.25 that comes with every booking, and here's what it guarantees: if your artist cancels, everything you paid — deposit, travel fee, and the $1.25 — comes back to you in full; if your artist doesn't show, BeautyMeet support steps in and helps you rebook. It covers the booking, not the result of the service, and it isn't refunded when you cancel. It's also how the platform stays commission-free for artists: marketplaces like StyleSeat take 30% of a new client's first visit (capped at $50); BeautyMeet charges you $1.25 instead, so artists keep what they earn. No percentage fees, no hidden charges, no surprises at checkout.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All payments are processed securely by Stripe — the same infrastructure used by Amazon, Shopify, and Lyft.

Yes. BeautyMeet never stores your card details on our servers. Every transaction runs through Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified — the highest level of payment security certification available.

Browse by service type (lashes, nails, hair, braids, makeup), filter by location, price range, and availability. Every artist profile shows their actual work — no stock photos. Read verified reviews from real clients who completed bookings before making your choice.

Yes. Many artists on BeautyMeet offer mobile services and will travel to your home, hotel, or office. Look for the 'Mobile' badge on artist profiles. Any travel fee is shown upfront before you confirm — no surprises.

Enter your promo code on the checkout screen before confirming your booking. Promo codes can be stacked with loyalty points for maximum savings.

Yes. Once you've booked, you can send messages directly to your artist through the app — ask questions, share inspiration photos, or confirm details. The conversation is saved so you can reference it anytime.

Cancellation policies are set by each individual artist. You can see the full policy before you book — it's displayed on the booking confirmation screen. Many artists charge a fee for cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment.

Go to your bookings in the app or website, select the appointment, and tap Cancel or Reschedule. Whether a fee applies depends on the artist's cancellation policy and how far in advance you cancel.

If an artist cancels, everything you paid — deposit, any travel fee, and the $1.25 booking guarantee — is refunded in full: back to your card (typically 5–10 business days depending on your bank) or as instant BeautyMeet wallet credit. We'll also help you find a comparable artist quickly.

Contact BeautyMeet support immediately. We'll investigate, issue a full refund, and take appropriate action. Repeated no-shows can result in permanent removal from the platform.

BeautyMeet sends automatic SMS and email reminders 24 hours and 2 hours before every appointment. You can manage notification preferences in your account settings.

After your appointment is marked complete, you'll receive a prompt to rate your experience and leave a written review. Only clients who completed a verified booking can leave reviews — every star rating is authentic.

Earn 1 point for every $1 you pay through BeautyMeet (cash paid directly to a provider doesn't earn points). Redeem points for money off future bookings. Points are calculated and applied automatically at checkout — no manual entry needed.

Purchase digital gift cards from $25 to $500 and send them via email or text. Gift cards are redeemable instantly on any booking. Gift cards never expire and have no inactivity fees. A $1.25 gift card fee applies per card and is non-refundable.

Credits are added to your BeautyMeet wallet from cancellation refunds, referral bonuses, or promotional offers. They apply automatically at checkout on your next booking — you never lose a dollar.

Share your unique referral link from your account dashboard. When a friend creates an account and completes their first booking of $20 or more paid through BeautyMeet, you both earn 200 loyalty points ($2 each). There's no limit to how many friends you can refer.
